About Me

Tiana Sloan serves as the Coordinator for Military and Veteran Services and the Director of Donor Engagement and Development at the University of Mount Saint Vincent. She is deeply committed to empowering student Veterans, ensuring they have access to the resources and support needed to thrive academically, professionally, and personally. Her work focuses on holistic advising and fostering a welcoming, engaged community for military-connected students as they transition to civilian life.

In addition, Tiana serves as President of the American Legion Auxiliary Leroy Gregory Unit 979, where she works to support Veterans and military-connected families. At the James J. Peters VA Medical Center, she volunteers across three coalitions, including serving as Chair of the Student Veterans Coalition. She also contributes to the Valor & Grace Women Veterans’ Network and the Veterans Committee of the Westchester County Suicide Prevention Coalition.

Tiana is proudly married to a U.S. Army Operation Iraqi Freedom Veteran.
